Kinder registration will be
Tuesday, April 10-13 for current families and
Wednesday, April 11-13 for new families.
All other families will need to come in between April 10 and April 27 to show proof of address. Please remember district approved verification are light/gas bill or mortgage/lease agreements.
With the start of the new semester we are offering clubs for students to participate in. Clubs are held from 8:15 am to 8:30 am.
Monday- Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) in the library sponsored by Mrs. Smith-Burt
Tuesday- Bucket Band in music room sponsored by Mrs. Smith-Burt
Wednesday- Creative Writing in room 308 sponsored by Mrs. Clark-Massey
Thursday- Pokemon in the library sponsored by Mr. Brinkman
Friday- Board Games in room 310 sponsored by Mrs. Hopkins
Calls after 2:30 and Attendance
Calls-Per the parent handbook page 8, know that messages for students called in after 2:30 may not reach your student before the end of the school day . If you call after 2:30 with a change in how your student will be getting home please know we will try our best but cannot guarantee the message will get to your student.
Excused & Unexcused
According to state law, all school-age children are to be in attendance except for the following reasons:illness, medical care, injury or other emergencies, activities or events beyond parental control. Final say of excused or unexcused is to be determined by principal.
are reported to the district attorney. Family vacations, weddings or hunting trips are not excused. Approved special circumstances arrangements can be made prior to with the principal.
If a student is frequently late, the principal will send attendance letters. According to board policy, three unexcused tardies are equal to one unexcused absence. Being late due to car troubles/issues, over sleeping, etc. are not excused tardies.
